Weekend after weekend I am continually blown away by how much there is to do in San Francisco and the surrounding areas. It is never boring in the (415) and we are truely spoiled by all that is at our finger tips! A couple weekends ago some friends and I went about an hour north to a quaint little beach town called Bolinas to soak in the sun for the weekend and specifically to attend Outstanding In The Field.

The event was held at Paradise Valley Farm featuring a family-style meal prepared by chef Adam Duyle from The Abbot's Cellar & Monk's Kettle paired with Firestone Walker Brewery. Honoring the local farms and food artisians of Marin County, each plate was as fresh and local and it could get. All 120 guests were welcomed by the farm owners themselves and invited to sit together at a one long table to partake in the meal. What a treat!!!
